Lindsay Herron is a Sergeant with the Minneapolis Police Department. She was the Animal Crimes Investigator for the city of Minneapolis for four years. In that time, she investigated hundreds of cases and rescued thousands of animals. She worked closely with members of the community to gain useful intelligence into the underground world of dog fighting. She also started a dog safety education program taught by MPD Police Officers in the Minneapolis Public Schools. She has received numerous awards and was recognized as one of the Top 10 Animal Defenders in the nation by the Animal Legal Defense Fund. She currently consults on animal cruelty and dog fighting cases across the state of MN. She is a distinguished instructor who trains professionals on how to recognize and report animal cruelty and animal fighting.
