Harmony Goorley, MA



Harmony Goorley, MA Harmony Goorley, MA, obtained her Masters of Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in corrections. She later became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and Certified Correctional Health Professional. She now works as a Falcon Inc. specialist (www.falconinc.com), aiming to elevate correctional behavioral health care. Consulting services offered ranging from justice architecture, operational and security processes, and mental health programming. In 2005, she began working with individuals on the autism spectrum and remains focused on elevating care for severely mentally-ill and special needs populations. In 2015, Harmony collaborated on the development of the first and remains the only autism-specific treatment program for civilly committed, sexually violent men on the autism spectrum. She continues to speak nationally on the subject, educating professionals on the importance of creating autism-responsive correctional facilities. Harmony has served clients in addiction recovery as well as individuals with serious mental illness residing in long-term residential treatment centers. She has 10 years of jail and civil commitment experience is a dedicated corrections clinician well-versed in treatment team management, and highly specialized in the treatment of autistic, psychopathic, and sexually violent persons. She has held supervisory positions in civil commitment, corrections, and inpatient residential treatment facilities. Harmony is also a member of American Correctional Association's Staff Wellness Committee, dedicated to bringing awareness to and elevating holistic health and wellness of correctional professionals.
