What does it mean?

The American Institute for the Advancement of Forensic Studies (AIAFS) is the leader in bridging the gap between forensic mental health and human service professional entities. By offering on-site training and conferences, educational webinars, current research and factual articles on a variety of topics, consultation services, and private training sessions, as well as a platform for professional networking.

The American Institute for the Advancement of Forensic Studies (AIAFS) is the frontrunner in partnering with educational institutions in developing exclusive programs focusing on human service professional's intellectual growth in areas of forensic mental and behavioral health.

The American Institute for the Advancement of Forensic Studies (AIAFS) was established in March 2011 as a National Association.

The Board of Directors is comprised of representatives of several disciplines within forensic fields of practice, including Criminal Justice, Mental Health, and Psychology.

AIAFS, as an organized National Association, mandates to hold training seminars, and conferences to further the education of forensic professionals.

AIAFS, as an organized National Association, mandates to research criminal justice material and share findings throughout the forensic professional community.
