Meet AIAFS' Expert Trainers

Kathi Osmonson, MA

Kathi Osmonson is a global speaker, author, and youth fire intervention practitioner. She has been working with children who start fires, and their families, for more than 20 years. Kathi writes and reviews peer-reviewed articles on the topic and she has earned her Master of Arts Degree in Human Service with an Emphasis in Forensic Behavioral Health. She currently coordinates the Minnesota Youth Fire Intervention Team and developed the Minnesota State Certification for Youth Fire Intervention Specialist and Program Manager in conjunction with the Minnesota State Fire Certification Board.
